Toronto Video Production Team | Hatul Madan
Meet the team behind Hatul Madan, a Toronto video production company bringing experience across film, television, music, sports, PR and commercial production.
Hatul Madan is a two-person Toronto video production company built around complementary creative and technical expertise. Alissa Fidelman and Levan Graham bring experience across film, television, music, commercial video, live sports, post-production and communications, combining creative problem-solving with the technical skills needed to take projects from concept through final delivery.
Alissa Fidelman
Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Alissa Fidelman has worked across music, live events, public relations, film, television and video production for more than a decade. She began her career at 14 as a musician and event producer, performing and producing concerts at Toronto’s former Musideum venue before expanding into marketing, PR and filmmaking.
Resourcefulness has defined Alissa’s approach from the beginning. While studying Communication at the University of Missouri, she recognized the potential for a documentary telling the stories of Ukrainians affected by the war. With no previous film production experience or production resources of her own, she found a production company, convinced Rapport Storytelling to produce the project pro bono, and helped turn the idea into Ukraine Unbroken, her first documentary short as executive producer.
Her communications background also includes professional public relations work, developing media materials, pitching journalists and supporting campaigns for clients including actor Maitreyi Ramakrishnan. That experience continues to shape her approach to video production, combining creative storytelling with an understanding of how content connects with audiences.
Following university, Alissa relocated to the United Kingdom to develop her film and television production skills. She was selected through competitive nationwide application processes for ScreenSkills training in archive research and unscripted television development. While in the UK, she worked on The Apprentice, gained experience inside prominent London post-production houses and production managed commercial video projects.
Today, Alissa leads creative development and production management at Hatul Madan, bringing her international experience back to Toronto’s film, music and video production community. Her approach centres on thorough pre-production, resourceful problem-solving and finding creative ways to make ambitious ideas achievable with the people, locations and resources available.
Founder & Executive Producer
Levan J. Graham
Born in Canada with Jamaican roots, Levan Graham brings a diverse technical and creative background to film and video production. Before entering the industry, he worked in computer programming and database management, developing the technical problem-solving skills that continue to shape his approach behind the camera.
In 2017, Levan changed careers to pursue filmmaking, developing into what he describes as a “Swiss Army knife” of production. He graduated from Centennial College’s film program in 2020 and continued his film and television studies at Humber College, graduating in 2026.
Levan began his production career working primarily in audio before moving into broadcast sports, including coverage for the Centennial Colts and Humber Hawks. Over more than six years, he has worked across short films, documentaries, live sports, concerts, advertisements and social events, building experience across a wide range of production environments.
Today, Levan works as a Toronto videographer and cinematographer with Hatul Madan, bringing a strong technical foundation, adaptability and extensive live-production experience to every shoot. His passion for filmmaking extends beyond the set. He watches hundreds of films each year, studying cinematography, editing, visual storytelling and filmmaking techniques to continually sharpen his craft and bring new ideas into his work.
Director, Cinematographer
A Small Team With a Scalable Production Network
Hatul Madan operates as a lean two-person production team, giving clients direct access to the people developing and creating their work. When a production requires more, our long-standing connections across Toronto's film and music industries allow us to build crews around the project, bringing in experienced cinematographers, sound professionals, lighting crews, production specialists and other creative talent as needed.
We stay small when small works and scale when the production demands it.
Creative Problem-Solving From Pre-Production to Post
Good video production is not about throwing resources at every problem. It is about knowing where those resources matter.
At Hatul Madan, we approach production creatively and practically. We use pre-production to anticipate challenges before cameras roll, build projects around the resources available and look for creative opportunities within real-world limitations. When something unexpected happens on set, we adapt, and when the footage reaches post-production, we already have a plan for how the pieces come together.
The goal is simple: solve as many problems as possible before they become expensive ones.
Experience Across Film, Television, Music and Live Production
Our experience spans film, television, documentary, commercial production, music, live events, sports coverage, public relations and post-production. Our backgrounds include work on The Apprentice UK, experience inside major London post-production houses, more than six years of live sports video production, and formal film and television training through Centennial College, Humber College and ScreenSkills.
That range allows us to approach each production from more than one perspective, balancing creative ambition, technical execution and the practical realities of getting a project made.
